Join us for a relaxing 2.5-hour Birds & Wildlife on the Bay cruise, a guided afternoon experience exploring the beautiful waters of Weymouth Bay – set against the stunning backdrop of the Jurassic Coast.

Led by experienced local birdwatcher Paul Harris, each trip offers the opportunity to spot a wide variety of coastal and seabirds while learning more about the incredible wildlife found along Dorset’s coastline. Depending on the season, you may encounter overwintering Great Northern Divers and Red-necked Grebes, migrating swallows and house martins and seabirds such as Gannet, Fulmar and Arctic Skua. Along the cliffs towards the Isle of Purbeck, keep an eye out for Guillemots and Razorbills, with the chance of Puffins if you’re lucky.

Birds of prey are always a highlight, with Peregrine Falcons regularly seen and increasing sightings of Osprey and White-tailed Eagles. You may also be lucky enough to witness terns diving to feed, alongside a variety of other fascinating coastal wildlife, making every trip a unique experience.

The bay is also rich in marine life and while sightings can never be guaranteed, dolphins and seals are occasionally spotted, adding an extra touch of excitement to what is always a memorable afternoon on the water.

Take in breathtaking sea views, dramatic coastline and the fresh Dorset air as you relax on board. Our fully licensed bar will be open throughout the cruise, serving a range of hot and cold drinks, with a selection of light bites also available to purchase.
