In this audacious action-adventure comedy, directors Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck weave together four electrifying tales set against the vibrant backdrop of late '80s Oakland, California. From teenage punks defending their turf against neo-Nazis, to an aspiring female rap duo striving for hip-hop immortality, a weary debt collector seeking redemption, and an NBA All-Star settling old scores - each story collides in a whirlwind of music, mayhem, and unexpected heroism.
